UAntwerp – Faculty of Law

Recruitment campaign via social media

Recruit new students

The Faculty of Law is one of the biggest departments at the University of Antwerp. It comprises about 2000 students each academic year and employs 340 professors, assistants, researchers and administrative personnel. During the period from June to September, the faculty normally organises various activities (fairs, physical info moments and trial classes, campus tours, …) to inform interested new students and to convince them to start a bachelor’s degree in law in Antwerp.

However, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, physical sessions were not possible this year and the recruitment campaign had to move online completely.

Social media calendar & content creation

Starting from a wide range of topics that was received from the client, Vintage firstly created a comprehensive social media calendar with regular updates on LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram during the 4-month period.

The calendar included informative posts about the various bachelor & master courses available in Antwerp, future career options, updates about the research activities of the Faculty of Law, testimonials of law students, videos in which researchers talk about legal questions raised during corona times, and articles about the city of Antwerp and – more specifically – its student life.

Vintage wrote the script and the interview questions for the testimonial posts, and provided the content for most of the social media updates, such as to-the-point promotional texts, accompanying images and clear, attractive infographics. All of the posts followed a clear story and were presented in a consistent style.

In addition, Vintage designed a hand-out flyer about the unique Tax Law course that is only offered in Antwerp.
